William Pursey was born around 1750, probably in Somerset. I've seen it said that he is the same William Pursey who was born in 1742 in West Buckland, but I am yet to find anything that proves this.
He was my 5th great grandfather and has a large number of descendants all around the world, with large branches of descendants in USA, Australia and New Zealand and probably elsewhere.
This tree excludes the descendants of George Stothert Bartrum and Sarah Pursey, as well as those of James Lock and Susan Pursey. These are my two direct lines - the first is already uploaded in another tree online, and the second will also be at some later stage.
I have spent a lot of time compiling this tree, but it probably contains many errors. It would be much appreciated if you see something that is wrong, or even if it just disagrees with your tree then please contact me on genesmail@bartrum.net.
