Narrative
From Auburn newspaper 1972
Lockport, NY (AP) Metford Pursey plans to go to England this fall to meet a brother he never knew he had.Pursey, 56,manager of the Tuscarora Club here, recently learned that Bertram Pursey of Street, Englad was his brother. Metford's daughter, Mrs. Jean Wilson made the discovery while researching the family. Through a great aunt in Street, she learned that Bertram was her uncle.
She said Bertram, now 64, had been left in England by his parents when they came to the United States in 1908. He was 11 months old at the time and was raised by relatives. There was no explanation why he was left behind. He is now an interior decorator and a village councilman.
